A Pakistan International Airlines plane carrying a handful of passengers touches down at Kabul airport. It has become the first international commercial flight to land since the Taliban retook power in Afghanistan.
On 15th of August according to a PIA spokesperson the flight will carry people from Kabul to Islamabad holding valid travel documents. According to a passenger around 10 people were on board about grand staff said around 100 people including mostly relatives of international organization.
Staff were waiting to catch the return flight. PIA has been one of the only services which operated evacuation flies from Kabul after West’s chaotic withdrawal on August 30th.
