Israel and Morocco have reached three accords less than a year after both agreed to normalize ties.
Israeli foreign minister Yara lapid signed the deals with his Moroccan counterpart Nasir bhurita in rabbat. The three pacts include an air service agreement and one on cooperation in fields of culture support and youth. The two sides also signed an mou on the establishment of a political consultation mechanism between their foreign ministries.
Lapid’s trip will be capped today by the inauguration of israel’s liaison mission in rabat. Morocco was one of the four arab countries to establish diplomatic ties with Israel last year.
