Now environmentalists say New Delhi was the world’s most polluted capital for the third straight year in 2020.

The Yamuna is known to be one of the most polluted rivers in the world owing to industrial wastage dump and sierra discharges while the yamuna fulfills sixty percent of new delhi’s water need almost the same percentage of the city’s sea.

The polluted water also becomes a perfect breeding ground for insects and bacteria. You can see percent pollution at least 80 percent of the pollution in the Yamuna happens in daily. It flows and slows near agra and this pollution accumulates here spoiling the beauty of the Taj Mahal goldilocks insects that feed on the algae infest.
