The Yemeni army says that it has killed at least 43 Houthi rebels and renewed fighting for the strategic city of Marib.
A military official said 22 pro-government troops were also killed and 50 others injured. He said the clashes erupted when the Houthis attacked pro-government positions south of the city. The official noted the rebels made progress despite losing dozens of fighters and coalition airstrikes. Meanwhile Pro-houthi media says the Arab coalition launched airstrikes on multiple areas of the group in Mari.
It said the raids follow Houthi’s complete recapture of the Rabbah district located South of the Maru province. Rabaa’s capture will cut off the coalition forces supply routes linking Albeda And Mara provinces.
