The Yemeni government says houthis have killed at least 30 soldiers in an attack on a military base in large province.
The targeted al-anlad air base belongs to forces of the saudi-led coalition. The officials say over 60 others got injured after the rebels hit the base with missiles and drones. Astringent forces spokesperson said the death toll may arise as rescuers are still clearing the scene. Several loud blasts were reportedly heard in the area.
The rebels have not yet commanded on the attack. The Yemeni government and houthis have been locked in war since 2014 when the rebels seized the capital Sanaa.
